Torr Waterfield Charity of the Year – Bodie Hodges Foundation

This year we have chosen to support the local charity Bodie Hodges Foundation.

Following the death of 10 month old Bodie, the Bodie Hodges Foundation was formed in 2012.

The charity supports families who have been bereaved of a child and also promotes organ donation. They work with local hospices and the NHS to ensure that families who need it are supported.

In 2016 Bodie's Boathouse was officially opened. This is a luxury, lakeside 3-bedroom retreat at Tallington Lakes in Lincolnshire. Through this, they provide free respite for families from the East Midlands bereaved of a child.

The fundraising starts now! Through various activities and events like our annual 'walking challenge' (which gets harder year by year!), dress down days, sale of homemade produce and the Torr Waterfield Karting Cup to name a few, we look forward to raising as much money as possible for this fantastic charity.
