New Face - Peter Morris

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Peter Morris who joins our team as a Director.

Peter started his working life as a policeman before making a move in to the accountancy profession 25 years ago. Having trained with Ernst & Young, in recent years, he has been a Director with East Midlands practice MGC Hayles.

Peter brings experience and knowledge to our firm, having worked with local businesses and advisors for many years. He worked on many large national and international company audits in the past, and this experience will assist our Audit department. In recent years, he has been advising mainly family run Small to Medium Enterprises (SME’s) on most areas of accountancy and tax. He will therefore fit in well with the core client base of Torr Waterfield.

Peter has recently married and has 3 daughters (not, we hasten to add, born since his marriage!). Away from the office, Peter enjoys playing and watching football and cricket, watching rugby, family holidays and the occasional skiing holiday (knees and other body parts allowing!).
